The Glass Is Structural.
A windshield is bonded to the body, not dropped into it. It helps the roof hold its shape in a rollover, and on most vehicles built in the last decade it is also the mounting point for the camera that runs lane keeping and automatic emergency braking.
Which is why it is not a part to shop on price alone, and why replacing one properly takes longer than the twenty minutes people tend to expect.

- Mobile or in-shopBoth are offered. Mobile comes to your driveway or your office; in-shop gives us controlled conditions, which matters in wind, cold or rain.
- How far we travelNo travel charge within 50 miles of the shop, which covers the DFW metroplex and the cities bordering it. Further out than that and a travel charge can apply — call and we will quote it before you book.
- Driver assistance camerasA camera mounted to the glass generally needs recalibrating after a replacement. Skipped, lane keeping and emergency braking can read the road wrong. We sublet recalibration to a dedicated calibration company rather than guess at it in-house.
- Which glass goes inWe fit OEM, OE-equivalent or aftermarket glass. On an insurance job the carrier decides which of those the policy pays for, and unless it is stated or requested otherwise they typically specify aftermarket. Paying yourself, it is your call — and we will tell you which one you are getting either way.
- InsuranceGlass is often handled differently from a body claim. Once you have filed the claim, we send the carrier whatever correspondence and documentation they need from us, so you are not relaying paperwork between two parties.
